Scottish Malts - entries now being accepted! 6th - 10th September 2010

Based at the world famous Turnberry Resort the HERO Scottish Malts Classic Reliability Trial and Classic Car Tour is the premier classic car event in Scotland.

Open to cars built before 31st December 1981, the “Malts” as it has come to be known has a successful format which includes driving tests, regularities and link sections. The ‘Malts’ has a tradition of sighting main controls and tests at stately homes, castles and distilleries.

Still considered by crews as one of the most demanding and challenging events in Europe and a definite to be ticked on your “must do” events list, HERO's Land’s End to John O’Groats Reliability Trial and Classic Car Tour is open to cars built before 1984.

As to be expected in December conditions are always tough, but no-one crosses the finish line without a smile on their face.

 Even more events for 2011

 London to Lisboa
The London to Lisboa Reliability Trial and Tour last took place in 2005. Having had a number of enquiries both from UK crews as well as Iberian ones, its much anticipated return is scheduled for 2011.

 The date is yet to be announced but it will probably be late September or early October.

The London to Lisboa is expected to take crews from London's Hyde Park through France, the Pyrenees and into Spain before reaching Portugal's breathtaking Atlantic coastline.
